How it Works
The chimney balloon is effective mainly because of one single principle, warm air rises and cold air sinks.
With the chimney balloon we can stop both at once, keeping the cold air from entering the room, and warm air from escaping up the chimney.
A room with a chimney balloon fitted needs only about half the heat compared to rooms with an open chimney.
It will stay in place for years - and stay inflated. It will provide 'double glazing' for your fireplace. You can deflate it (and re-inflate it) any time you want a fire.
